Since 1963, every year on July 7th, World Soil Day is commemorated with the purpose of making people become aware of the importance that land has within the environmental balance. This date is intrinsically linked to the climate change we are currently experiencing, seeking to publicize how pollution or excessive exploitation of soils affect the destruction of the environment and putting the survival of species at risk.
The conservation of our soils is everyone's task, from business actions to remedy the negative consequences generated by their industrial activities, to small personal contributions that we can make for this cause, such as using organic fertilizer, planting trees whenever we can and encouraging the rest of the people to implement direct sowing, not contaminating the soils with non-organic waste disposal, recycling, among others.
To enhance this day (and all dates related to environmental caring), Hidronor works and implements different sustainable actions to environmental caring with different environmental services, such as: remediation and restoration of contaminated land, waste recovery and recycling, analysis and characterization of residues, among others.
Let's conserve our soils together!
