With the aim of developing a safer system of work for everyone, at Hidronor we work on the continuous improvement and implementation of dialogues, training and strict safety protocols that today translate into having accomplished 500 continuous days without accidents and disabling injuries.
“This important milestone is the result of the comprehensive work of all of us that form part of Hidronor, both internally and externally, and considering that each area of the company is represented by a person in charge, the aligned work of the entire team is what today makes it possible to achieve milestones as relevant as this one in safety terms”, highlighted Rodrigo Pérez, head of the Pudahuel Hidronor Plant.
For our institution, to include Health and Safety at Work is an inalienable ethical value that we incorporate into each one of our actions, as well as quality, efficiency, innovation and caring for the environment in everything we do.
Thanks to this, at Hidronor we can say that "today our accident rates are very low and way below industry average, which demonstrates the proper functioning of the protocols and our employees commitments in safety terms", the executive assures. In fact, the tax that the company pays to mutuals today for accident rates is the value-based pricing imposed by policies, which has not increased these recent months given the good performance of the company.
"The fulfillment of this goal inspires us to continue giving all our best to accomplish more and better achievements in safety terms, so we will remain committed to this work continuously, ensuring the safe return of each one and all of our collaborators and contractors”, Perez concluded.
