Between June 13th-16th and along with more than 700 companies, we participated in the most important National Fair in the northern part of our country for the mining and energy industry where we were part of the different business roundtables to keep ourselves updated with the challenges of the industry, both productive and environmental, aiming to strengthen our offer and be more efficient every day for our customers.

During the event we took the opportunity to talk to the attendees about the progress of the current regulations each company must comply with, as well as actions related to the elimination of hazardous waste, the value contribution of the circular economy, and the new changes required by the Financial Market Commission (CMF) regarding environmental compliance. In accordance, the companies must include the details of the mechanisms to ensure compliance with the environmental obligations that they have established in their annual reports. 

Likewise, the Superintendency of the Environment (SMA), in collaboration with the public and private sectors, has begun to develop a pilot plan which we voluntarily agreed on, in order to form part of as the only company in the waste management field at the moment, and was part of the information shared with attendees.

We also fully detail our service offers as a contribution to the EPR Law in terms of revaluation and production of alternative fuel, waste processing for the generation of by-products that can be reused by companies, soil recovery and remediation, among others as mining and energy, key for these two important productive sectors of the country.
