With the aim of closing 2022 and continuing to promote good corporate practices in terms of safety, the environment and the circular economy, the GSAE Territory and Circular Economy Directorate recently carried out an activity with the different contractor companies -among which we find -, where he recognized the sharing of the same corporate values and good results achieved to date.
The initiative also included talks by Codelco, added to a lunch to share together as a team and an active break.
Among the different topics addressed, the executives highlighted some such as the new focus of the Solid Industrial Waste Management Center (CMRIS) on circular economy; the commitments to reduce the stock of waste at CMRIS with a focus on reuse and the goals achieved to date in terms of reducing emissions by the El Teniente site (70%), as well as the recycling of 65% of the waste Not dangerous; of 100% of the mining tires and the maximum reduction of waste stay time in CMRIS, among others.
Finally, each contractor company also recognized its most outstanding workers in different areas, such as best colleague, environment and safety. On behalf of Hidronor, our Assistant Sales Manager, Denisse Triviños, presented the awards, highlighting that "being recognized for our work and good performance throughout the year is the result of the effort, commitment and dedication that we have forged as a company to give our best in terms of management and treatment of hazardous waste. Without a doubt, we will continue to promote all the protocols we have internally so that in 2023 we achieve more and better results in a responsible manner”.
