The production of recycled plastic reached 106,870 tons, with a total installed capacity available to reach 155 thousand tons at the country level, that is, a growth of 15% between 2020 and 2022, according to 2022 data collected for the “Third Study of Plastic Recycling in Chile”, carried out by ASIPLA.

Given this alarming figure, today it is essential to recover the greatest amount of plastic waste generated by the main
