Globally, in 2015 15,590 tons of electronic waste or E-waste, as well as 856 tons of batteries. In the country, since 2005 an ecological management program has been implemented that seeks to take charge of electronic waste and its possible consequences for the environment, managing to recycle 98% of waste.
