On June 4, the Waste Management University Conference was held at the José Suárez Fanjul Auditorium of the University of Concepción - Campus Chillán, attended by more than one hundred students and academics from different universities and specialists in the field.
This seminar was organized by the InduAmbiente Magazine and sponsored by Hidronor, with the purpose of addressing the main challenges presented by the management of waste in the Ñuble Region and learn about regional alternatives, as well as publicize the main solutions that will add value to the area through proper waste management.
Within the framework of study, participated Dr. Fernando Torres, MATPEL director of the University of Concepción, who talked about the experience in handling hazardous waste within the university. On the part of Hidronor, Pierre Servanti and Katia Toledo, commercial manager of Zona Sur and project engineer respectively, gave the talk "Comprehensive waste management and solutions to generate value".
The meeting ended with a panel of questions and debate, where the exhibitors and attendees they were able to exchange ideas and opinions.
