As every year, and as established by UNESCO, this May 17 we commemorate World Recycling Day, a date that has been gaining a lot of strength and awareness in citizens about the importance of treating waste properly to contribute to caring for the environment. environment and protect it.

The campaign known as “3R: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle ”, is the most famous worldwide, and it adds more participants every year. Thanks to this practice (both personal and business) it is possible to reduce the volume of waste discarded, and therefore contamination; preserve the natural resources, save energy, reduce production costs of new goods, among other benefits.

To celebrate this day and increase the citizen participation various organizations worldwide organize events, campaigns, concerts, activities, and endless proposals to encourage to recycling, educating and helping in the cleaning process of the planet.
