The results of the Second Environmental Performance Assessment carried out by the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) highlight the country's progress in strengthening our environmental institutions and provide recommendations to advance as a country towards sustainable economic development.
One of the most important points in the information that Chile presented to the OECD, is the Dictation in 2010 of Supreme Decree No. 2 of the MINSAL that prohibits the export of leaded batteries out of use thanks to the fact that our country has the capacity to process them in safe and responsible manner within your own borders.
