World Water Day was proclaimed by the UN in 1992 in Rio de Janeiro at the United Nations conference on environment and development. This day is celebrated on March 22 of each year and its main objective is to create awareness in people of the importance of caring for this natural resource for the life of human beings and species on Earth.
Water is a natural resource composed of hydrogen and oxygen molecules, very necessary for the life that makes it possible for all terrestrial species to continue to grow and developing every day. Unfortunately this valuable and indispensable natural resource does not arrive safely to large numbers of people in different countries, especially to the poorest, where the water drinking is not accessible. This day is an opportune date for everyone, from individually or collectively, we become aware of the importance of using responsible for this resource.
At Hidronor we promote care, reuse and the rationing of the water we use in our many activities daily.
