The needs and competencies of the world market require industries to increase their productivity but in a more sustainable way. However, and despite multiple laws and global initiatives, there are production processes that lead to the generation of hazardous waste (RESPEL) that must be treated and properly disposed of in Security Landfills.

As a result of this problem, for more than 25 years Hidronor has operated in Chile to provide environmental sustainability to industrial development, treating these RESPELs and providing an adequate provision to avoid impacts on the environment. The company's offer is quite wide, since it has hazardous waste transportation services in different equipment (rafts, hoppers, ampliroll, cisterns, flat ramps, among others); treatment of Liquid Industrial Residues (RILes) which are able to stabilize and reduce their pollutant load, and in some cases it is reused as process water; treatment of Solid Industrial Waste (RISes); and final disposal of waste in specialized deposits that are constantly monitored.

Additionally, the company offers environmental solutions in energy revaluation, recovery and recycling of waste. Many of these already treated waste have a useful life again for production processes through the production of alternative fuel using the calorific value of waste such as: waste oils, solvents, paints; reuse of containers, plastic containers, drums, wooden pallets, as well as recycling of plastics, batteries, scrap metal and electrical appliances.
