On Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at the Enjoy Hotel in Antofagasta, the 3rd. Seminar "How to Value Industrial Waste", organized by InduAmbiente with the main sponsorship of Hidronor.

The event will be especially aimed at the mining and industrial sector in the northern part of the country and will address two main themes. The first of these will be the regulatory framework for the management of industrial waste, and will include issues such as the impact on this issue of the Law on Promotion of Recycling and Extended Producer Responsibility (REP), modifications to the Regulation on Hazardous Waste, and the mining regulations associated with this matter. The second part of the Seminar will be focused on the presentation of different alternatives so that the companies in the area (mining, power generation, fishing, port, etc.) can optimize and enhance the management of their hazardous and non-hazardous waste, with a view to generate economic, environmental and security benefits for companies and their environment, contributing to greater sustainability of productive activities.
