The celebration of World Clean Air Day was established since 1977, established to be celebrated on the third Thursday of November, by the World Health Organization (WHO).
The objective of celebrating this day is based on concern about polluting emissions that affect people's health and in response to mobilizations by civil society in favor of caring for the environment to raise the level of health and well-being of the population.
This day is considered a claim to humanity before the persistent deterioration of the environment by pollutants of industrial gases, vehicles and forest fires, it is also an opportunity in which governments are asked to monitor environmental pollution in their cities and carry out actions that reduce it.
