On July 12, 2018, the "Seminar on solutions for industrial waste" was held at the "SurA Activo" convention center, in the Biobío region.

Under the organization of InduAmbiente and the sponsorship of Hidronor, the second cycle of the Seminar was developed, where representatives of the industrial companies of the southern zone participated, as well as authorities and high-level specialists, who are reviewing the regulatory framework that governs in this area and publicizing alternatives to optimize industrial waste management, thus contributing to greater sustainability in production processes.

The presentation of the Seminar was in charge of Carlos Araya, Director of InduAmbiente; Ricardo Gouët, Hidronor South Zone Regional Manager; among others. Pierre Servanti "South Zone Commercial Manager" and Katia Toledo "Hidronor Project Engineer", made a presentation where they provided background information on waste management and solutions to generate value. Additionally, they referred to the new project that the company is implementing for the production of clean energy from the recovery of biogas from the waste managed by the southern zone plant located in Copiulemu.
